Township Lakes and Beaches
Eating & drinking is not permitted on the township beaches.
Beaches will be open beginning of Saturday, June 16, 2018. All residents are invited to our opening day beach bash featuring fun activities & entertainment for the whole family to enjoy as we celebrate the beginning of another beach season Saturday, June 23rd starting at noon.
Beach Badges will be required starting Saturday, June 24th and should be openly displayed.
Swimming Lessons Registration will be held on June 13 and 22 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Lacey Recreation Office. You must register in person. Swimming lesson ages are 5-12 (Students must be entering Kindergarten in September)
Swimming Lessons are scheduled Tuesdays June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24th. Lesson times are 10:15am - 11:00am, and 11:30 am - 12:15 pm and the cost is $20.00 per child.
Junior Lifeguard Program is scheduled Wednesdays June 27, July 11, 18, 25 and August 1st (No class on July 4th) between the hours of 9:30 and 12:30 pm and it is $45 per child. Ages 12-15 are eligible to participate in the Jr. Lifeguard Program.
Beach Badges: Are available beginning May 1st in the Recreation Office from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, & 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturdays in June and July. The cost of a badge is $5.00 and is NOT refundable. Beach Badges are required for ages 5 years of age and older. Proof of residency is required. (Tax bill, sewer bill, copy of deed/lease, rental agreement or drivers license)
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to be on the beach.
