Runyan to Host 3rd Annual Senior Health Fair in Ocean County
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, July 29th, Congressman Runyan will host his 3rd annual Ocean County Senior Health Fair at the Brick VFW, located at 373 Adamston Road from 10a.m. until 2p.m.
Hospitals and organizations invited to attend include Community Hospital, Southern Ocean County Hospital, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Center for Medicare and Medicaid, Ocean County Senior Services, Brick Office of Senior Services, Social Security Administration, Ocean County Surrogates Office, and Ocean County Consumer Affairs. The hospitals in attendance will be offering a variety of health screenings and information about other services they provide at their facilities.
“In the past, these health fairs have been very beneficial to seniors throughout the district,” said Congressman Runyan. “I encourage all seniors in Ocean County to attend this event and take advantage of the free health screenings, such as cholesterol, bone density and blood pressure. In addition, representatives from different organizations will be on hand to answer any questions that seniors may have.”
This will be the 6th Senior Health Fair that Congressman Runyan has hosted since taking office in 2011. Earlier this month, Runyan hosted a Senior Health Fair at Northern Burlington Middle School in Columbus.
