Tuesday, July 8 & Friday, July 25, 2014 from 9 – 11AM

The Ocean County Health Department is offering the following training by Oceanside CPR LLC  at the

Lacey Community Center, 101 N. Main Street, Forked River
(corner of Rt. 9 and Lacey Rd)

 CPR/AED Training for Adult/Child/Infant

CPR = cardiopulmonary resuscitation
AED= automated external defibrillation

CPR/AED is a classroom, instructor-led course that teaches Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to help someone who may be choking, whether the person is an adult, child or infant.

CPR AED teaches skills with research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skill. Upon successful completion of the course, including a skills test, students receive a CPR AED course completion card valid for 2 years.

The course covers:

  • Adult/child/infant CPR and AED use
  • Also includes adult/child/choking prevention 

This course if for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. 

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at anytime.  Through this CPR AED Course, you will have the confidence and skill to respond to these emergencies.  When a life is at stake, don’t settle for less.  Rely on quality training from a trusted leader in CPR and emergency cardiovascular care.
