The Current Terrorism Threat Level Is:

Due to the barbaric terrorist attacks that occurred in London on July 5th, 2005, the terrorism Threat Level has been raised to Orange or High, but only pertaining to mass transit and transportation lines. We do, however, encourage the public to increase your own personal awareness in these trying times, and to report ANY suspicious or potential terrorist activity IMMEDIATELY. This is particularly important concerning suspicious unattended packages or cases in crowded public areas, or on buses, trains, etc.
The Department of Homeland Security determined that the Threat Level remain at Yellow (Elevated) for the rest of the nation, which became effective on 11/10/2004.
While this is good news, the elevated level still indicates a significant risk of terrorist attacks, so increased awareness is still the order of the day.
