Municipal Court
The Municipal Court Office is located in the lower level of the Municipal Building and can be reached at (609) 693-1100 ext 2262. The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over cases within their territorial jurisdiction, including violations of municipal ordinances, violations of motor vehicle and traffic laws, disorderly persons offenses, petty disorderly persons offenses and other nonindictable offenses except where exclusive jurisdiction is given to the Superior Court. Also included within this jurisdiction are violations of fish and game laws.
Court is held the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday of each month with a morning and afternoon session. There is a night court the 1st Tuesday of each month at 4:00PM. Mediation cases are scheduled on the 3rd Friday of each month.
The violation window is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If anyone is unable to make a payment at our violations window and does not want to mail in their payment, they are welcome to drop the payment in the drop-box, located outside, in front of the Municipal Building. Credit Cards are accepted for payment of violations.
