TOWNSHIP LAKES AND BEACHES

Eating & drinking is not permitted on the township beaches.

Beaches will be open beginning of Saturday, June 14.  All residents are invited to our opening day beach bash featuring fun activities & entertainment for the whole family to enjoy on Saturday, June 14th.  

Beach Badges will be required starting Saturday, June 21st and should be openly displayed. 

Beach Patrol hours are from 10AM – 4PM.

Cedar Creek Beach, Forrest Ave., Lanoka Harbor

Bamber Lake Beach, Bamber Lake

Deerhead Lake Beach, Deerhead Lake Dr., Forked River (3rd lake)

Lake Barnegat Beach, Lakeside Dr., Forked River (2nd Lake)

Swimming Lessons Registration will be held on June 5, 18, 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Lacey Recreation Office.  You must register in person.  Swimming lesson ages are 5-12 (Students must be entering Kindergarten in September)

Swimming Lessons are scheduled Tuesdays July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, with August 5th reserved as a rain date, Lesson times are 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm, 2:00pm and are $20.00 per child.

Junior Lifeguard Program is scheduled Wednesdays July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, with August 6 scheduled as a rain date between the hours of 9:30 to 12:30pm and it is $45 per child.

BEACH BADGES: Are available beginning June 2nd in the Recreation Office from 8:30AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday, & 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturdays in June and July.  The cost of a badge is $5.00 and is NOT refundable.  Beach Badges are required for ages 5 years of age and older. Proof of residency is required. (Tax bill, sewer bill, copy of deed/lease, rental agreement or drivers license)

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to be on the beach.
